I was rooting around the It’s Pronounced Lajaway offices, just trying to do some cleaning, making sure Vern cleaned all the cat boxes, etc. etc. when I came across some items that I thought might be helpful to some members of the Indians.

In the health section, I found a bunch of stuff from The Mayo Clinic on stretches, including how to properly stretch your hamstring. Thought it might help Jason Kipnis. Oddly enough, I couldn’t find anything else under “health” or “healthy.” Did find a lot relating to hip, knee, wrist, and shoulder injuries.

Found a fare schedule for Greyhound from Cleveland to Columbus. Zach McAllister, Cord Phelps, and Luis Valbuena may want to consider a charter bus, but if not, Greyhound can get you there for 29 bucks. It’s $34 if you buy a refundable ticket and, well, the way things are going, refundable might not be a bad idea.

Next to the file on Jim Thome, I also found files for Kenny Lofton and Omar Vizquel, along with a copy of Proust’s Remembrance of Things Past.

For some reason, we have a bunch of stuff from realtors that all emphasize location, location, location. Stephanie put a Post-It note on it reading “For Ubaldo.”

We also have a complete archive of the Hot Dog Derby races. They’re marked “For Amusement Only: Not For Training Purposes” but I think they were mis-filed.

Found a copy of David Mamet’s Glengarry Glen Ross.  There’s a Post-It note with Chris Perez’s name on it stuck in near the end. Somebody highlighted the line: “Always. Be. Closing.”

That’s enough cleaning for today. Time to go watch the game.
