This team needs… some kind of spark. Somebody needs to step up and shake them awake. I’m not even sure it’s someone currently in the clubhouse. I don’t care if that person can even get hits or not, or field a position, but he needs to get in there & be a veteran presence that this team desperately needs. I hope they can find that person soon. Maybe Monday?
Not only are they playing poor defense, they never seem to make any really good plays to help out the pitching (i.e. the 1st inning). They have brain farts at the very worst time, and when they do score runs offensively, it’s almost a guarantee that the pitching staff will give them back the next half inning.
Only bright spot right now is that Kluber and McAllister have been consistently pitching well, and Masterson was good last night. Besides that, bleh…
I really hate to be a one-trick pony and a Debbie Downer, but I can’t think of another way to summerize the Tribe’s offensive futility than what I’ve been pointing to. Our innings often start out so well, only to squander the effort with no result.
Everyone looks hung over…again. Totally not ready to play baseball.
Gomes has been making a heck of a case here in the early going that Santana should be the everyday catcher.
This team needs to be booed out of the stadium. This is already pathetic.
That first inning was absolutely horrible. Tee ball players could do better.
I didn’t know the circus was in town today.
Sigh. Turning this off already. We aren’t going to score 4 runs this game.

Nyjer Morgan was providing a pretty good spark until they dumped him.
I know who! It’ll be Giambi! (sarcasm)
This is not a baseball team.
All Santana does is hit into double plays. Stop taking huge cuts
I’m at today’s game and have tickets to tomorrow, but I think I’ll trade tomorrow’s in. I can’t take 2 days of this.
This team has zero confidence right now.

Ah, crap. Tribe has runners on 1st and 2nd with no out.

Trust me SD – you have miles to go to take the “Debbie Downer” tag from some of the posters on here! ;o)
That being said, the Indians could all make us feel better if they started to play like the team that won 92 games last year any time now…
Oh, I know… I’m a Cleveland fan. Being pissimistic (misspelling intentional and a new adjective to describe Cleveland fans) is in our blood.
I take that back. It’s not in our blood. It’s beat into us every season.
Nick Swisher needs to take a seat on the bench for few games
He is killing every rally we start and not looking very good at all with the glove
