The Indians are back home tonight for a three-game homestand against the Twins, before they hit the road again to take on Atlanta and Detroit.  Tonight, Ubaldo Jimenez will take on Samuel Deduno for the Twins.  Deduno’s past few games have been a bit rocky; during his last start against the White Sox on August 18, he gave up 5 ER on 8 hits, walking none over 5 innings.  The Indians have seen Deduno twice this year, on June 21 he gave up 4 ER on 6 hits over 6 innings, and on August 13 he gave up 4 ER and 5 hits over 6 innings.

Jimenez is coming off a win on August 17 against Oakland where he gave up just 1 ER on 1 hit, walking 5 in 5.2 innings pitched.  He had a no-hitter going for much of the game, but his control issues ran his pitch count up and translated into an early exit from the game.  This will be his first time facing Minnesota this season.

Use this thread to chat about the game!  Hopefully the Tribe can build on their sweep of the Angels.
