There’s no reason not to be greedy…we’re making up for lost time after all of the seasons of Kotchman/Dellucci/etc. type of signings!

Supposedly the Indians claim they will not be signing Lohse, and they will not be trading anyone. We all know that teams may say things like that, then turn around and do it anyway! As I mentioned above, I’m not as big on Lohse as everyone else just because I’m worried about his performance back in the AL. That’s not to say that it still wouldn’t be worth it to sign him if his price drops enough.

As far as a trade, if it were to happen, I’d see it happening a bit later in spring training. Teams usually wait to see how things are shaping up before they trade surplus. That’s just my opinion though, and I could be wrong!

That second wild card spot could theoretically end up going to a team in the central. The only thing that worries me is that everyone in the AL West is strong except for Seattle and Houston. With the other three beating up on those two, it could help to inflate their win totals.

HA! You know, I always say that a team doesn’t have to necessarily contend for me to enjoy watching them. (Although it’s nice) A team can win 75-80 games and still be fun to watch…and I do think this will be a fun team to watch, regardless of their record.

I think they’ve created a lot of good will. I’ve even seen a few people say that they called and bought partial season plans today. If there really is a rush on tickets, it makes me glad I got mine back in October!

While I love the way you’re thinking, I’m just not as big on Lohse as everyone else. I guess I’m just a little wary of him returning to the AL, where his stats were much worse than the NL.

We can’t be getting too greedy and ask for Kyle Loshe on top of all this can we? I mean, I am starting to feel like the Yankees during their free spending days. But I must admit, getting Loshe would certainly shore up our rotation a little bit better than the duct tape and glue which is currently holding it together.

I would like to reiterate Cadfael’s question. I just read an article that claimed that now was the time to go after Lohse. What are the chances that the tribe makes one final big offseason move to sign FA Kyle Lohse? (or any starting pitcher for that matter whether through free agency or trade)
