As far as I know, Jimenez did not see in-game action in winter ball. He was on a throwing program, and Francona and company went down to see him.

Tomlin is under team control for several more years. He hasn’t even hit arbitration yet. However, he will miss all or most of 2013 recovering from the elbow surgery. Carrasco is ready to go and throwing well from what I hear, and while he will probably have an innings limit around 140-150, he will get first nod over Corey Kluber for the rotation. The team still has high hopes for Carrasco, and can always bring up Bauer later in the year if Carrasco hits the wall. Kluber has a great arm (94MPH fastball, good curveball) but poor location. You can’t throw down the middle of the plate at this level, especially when its a four-seamer with little movement.

Speaking of TJ surgery, what’s up with Josh Tomlin? I know he went on the DL last June(?) and his contract was up at the end of this season. Any chance the Tribe considers bringing him back?

Joey, I can’t find them either. Theoretically, his stats should be here: http://mlb.mlb.com/milb/stats/org.jsp?id=cle but I don’t see Jimenez listed. I’ll do some more searching.

does anybody know how to find out jimenez winter ball stats for this year? i cant find them anywhere…im curious to see how he did,and how hard hes throwing.
