I’m not aware of any major injury history with Bay other than the two concussions. If there are more serious injuries in his past, that would certainly change my mind about signing him. Otherwise, it’s hard to compare the two with Sizemore having two knee operations, one elbow, two hernias, and one back surgery, all in the last four years.

I consider Bay to be in the mold of a slightly older Grady Sizemore. At least with Grady we know detailed medical history. I am against Bay AND Grady

Thanks for the detailed breakdown. My first thought was, “Here we go again. Grasping at straws with washed up veterans.” But Bay is still young enough to be productive at 34. The concussions or the NY spotlight could easily explain his recent struggles, and if he’s symptom-free now he’d be a reasonable risk.
