We’re probably not gonna see Lindor in Cleveland until late 2014 at the earliest. The goal for him is to end 2013 playing well at Akron.

Say what?! Lindor is 19 and just hit .250 with 6 HR in low-A ball in his first pro season. He might not be ready for the big show just yet.

I’ve been seeing a lot of comments and articles about Santana’s power dip this year. He did have a miserable first half, but I don’t think it has to be anything bigger than that. His 14 HR in the 2nd half were consistent with his season-long HR pace from last year. He improved his approach at the plate and made the adjustments that were needed, and he did it with absolutely no protection in the lineup whatsoever. I respect that, and to quote Dennis Green, I still believe that he is who we thought he was.
