I’m loving your predictions…particularly Chisenhall. If he stays healthy, I think he could be poised for a good year.

You hit on more than you missed! It makes me want to try my hand at predicting 2013. So here goes:
Breakthrough player: Lonnie Chisenhall. I predict .275 with 17HR.
Comeback player: Justin Masterson. He is way better than he looked last year.
Potential All-star: Carlos Santana. Quick, name a catcher not named Posey who had a better second half. Didn’t think so. And now he has protection in the lineup.
Player that worries me: Ubaldo Jimenez. You want to think that he couldn’t possibly be that bad again. He can.
Most likely to succeed off the scrap heap: None, which is a good thing. We have more legitimate players now.
Pleasant surprise: Drew Stubbs. Fresh start special. I predict .245 16 HR 30 SB and good D, and yes, a few K’s. He’s also 28, typically a peak year. The average isn’t elite, but still a 30 point jump over last year. You take that.
