I thought that the Hernandez-Hernandez game looked pretty cool. Even though the crowd obviously leaned Seattle, it was nice to see the place full and amped. It looked like there was still a decent amount of Indians fans there too.

I was in the second row even with third base. Coach correctly gave Kotchman an early stop sign. He would have been dead meat at the plate, even on a mediocre throw. You need wheels Kotchman doesn't have to score from first on that play.

I thought the game was REALLY good. Back and forth the whole way. The fans (except for us Tribe die-hards, and there were quite a few) were groaning in the ninth when the Carera walked to load the bases and Kipnis stepped up. But, it was just not meant to be.

The game was in the balance 'til the last pitch -- a rarity in Tribe games these days.

I was curious about that, because it was after my cable went out. The way Tom Hamilton talked, he sounded almost surprised that Kotchman didn't try to go home (and said that Carrera was caught between first and second because he expected him to run).

i sadly endured the M's/Tribe game last night....dont know if anyone felt similarly, but i was disappointed kotchman didnt score on carerra's double in 9th...couldnt tell if he got a poor jump, we were too conservative or it was the right call (Thames made a good play on the karom, but the ball also had big hang time)....big deal since you'll recall there was a passed ball right after that...zeke scores (or goes to 3rd) easily on that without mule kotchman in front of him....at least changes situation quite a bit...all Kipnis needs is long out.....anyway....not getting any easier with King Felix on the hill...interesting local note, they are giving K tee-shirts away to first 34,000 fans...which is wishful thinking since the team has only averaged 21-22k per game, and were sub-15k last night....then again, the guy did len barker it last time on the hill, so who knows? keep the faith peeps, and remember - manny must (and will) go.
