They should have sold very high on Perez. I think he has peaked and they could have gotten a young starter. Anyone in the bullpen could close this year. There would be no pressure because there won’t be many save chances with Lowe and Ubaldo pitching.

Can they just get rid of Jimenez? Pomeranz and White are not quite studs so doesn’t it justify dumping him? It does to me. I’d rather some minor-leaguer put up a 5.xx ERA next year.

I’d gladly pay Choo. They won’t have Pronk, Lowe, or Grady on the books next season. Might as well pay a guy who can play and seems to flourish in leadoff.
