The only one of the guys that I really don’t want at all is LaHair. I could accept the others under certain circumstances…I just think they can be maddening at times. Pence has been driving people nuts this year, although he has been better in July. Poor defensively, bad in clutch situations, and not so great at other times. He may just need a change of scenery.

I’ve been super bitter lately. I’m not sure why. I wrote a very nice, non-bitter piece but it’s going on the SweetSpot in the next day or two.

At least we just DFA’ed Cunningham. I don’t expect Lillibridge to be much of an upgrade, but it certainly couldn’t hurt to try something different.

I’ve kind of wondered that myself. I was also a little curious that they didn’t give Trevor Crowe one more shot. Not that I think there would be an all-star worthy performance or anything, but like you said, it really wouldn’t be any worse.

I know I’ve already said it a hundred times, but I really can’t imagine a scenario in which quad-A LaPorta is any worse than the comedy of errors in left field.
