Love – Buddy Bell – slick fielding sun god, good hit and run player and always went all out.
Eck – Hard throwin, sidewinder with a cool stasch’
Thome – Hammer hittin corn fed countryboy
Andre Thorton – Only REAL homer threat for years
Kuiper – great fielder that could hit a homer every 5000 bats or so
Lofton – spark plug speedster with a flare for runs

Hate – none

Love – Alvaro Espinosa (Those glasses. Sup?), Cliff Lee (in any uniform. Always and forever), Bruce Aven (your minor league theory), MannyBManny (I just love the drama, as long as its not in my city)

Hate – I have to back you up on Blake and Kearns. How do these guys still have jobs? Also, Cincinnati’s Paul Janish. He’s got a decent glove, but he can’t hit. period. Everyone in Cincinnati is convinced he’s the best SS since Ozzie. Mark Texeira: from the constantly mispronounced name to the contract to that weird upper lip/nose mess he’s got going on, I have never liked him despite begrudgingly admitting he’s a damn good 1B.

It’s easy to recall mediocre Indians that I love: Duke Sims, Brook Jacoby, Mudcat Grant, Duane Kuiper, Jack Brohamer, etc. There have been very few that I irrationally disliked, but four come to mind: Keith Hernandez, Jhonny Peralta, Fausto Carmona, and Carlos Santana.
