I'd like to see us do three things this offseason:

1) Figure out how to teach the guys that should be playing AAAA baseball (cough, Valbuena, cough). Guys that can play well in AAA but suck in the MLB doesn't exactly help Cleveland out.

2) Have the Dolans actually spend their money on people that can produce for more than one year. If the trades and offseason signings are geared towards younger guys who are on the rise or guys in their prime, we can make the playoffs

3) Have Carmona become the long-innings reliever in the bullpen. That way he can still take over with some endurance and maybe make us feel better when he's in there unlike Chad Durbin.

I agree about Chisenhall - he'll be fine and could probably just use some protection in the lineup. Look at Jhonny Peralta this season...I can't help but think it's because he has some scary hitters batting around him!

In my opinion, the following Indians are solid offensively: Jason Kipnis, Shin Soo Choo, and Carlos Santana. Lonnie Chisenhall is only 22 years old and I think if he is either hitting before or after a .300 hitter, his average would be significantly higher. The Indians need to sign a right-handed .300 hitter to play either 1B or LF.

I agree with you on Carmona and Sizemore. I would like to see Grady go to the National League and re-invent his career.
