The Indians will get their Interleague thing on tonight as they open a three-game series in St. Louis against the Cardinals. Mike Clevinger (6-2, 3.00) takes the mound against Cardinals’ right-hander John Gant (1-2, 4.39). It’s the first time the Indians have visited Busch Stadium since 2012.

Some fun facts:

  • The Indians have won their last seven games and has outscored opponents 54-9 during this streak.
  • Jose Ramirez has reached base in 31 consecutive games–the second-longest active streak in the majors. He’s currently tied with Boston’s J.D. Martinez and the Angels’ Mike Trout for the major league lead with 23 home runs.
  • Francisco Lindor has homered in a career-high three straight games, bringing his season total to 19 (6th in the American League).
  • Clevinger is 0-1 with a 5.28 ERA (10ER/15.1IP) in four prior interleague starts. We’re in a National League stadium, so Sunshine gets to bat. He has five career plate appearances, going 0-4 with one strikeout and one sacrifice bunt.
