Gooooooooooooooooooood evening, Tribe Fans! Are you ready for some Cleveland Indians baseball?
The Indians are currently in first place, and they took game one from the Kansas City Royals (the one team outside of Chicago that I can’t stand) — it’s a good time to be a Cleveland baseball fan. Tonight, in game two of the three game series, Trevor Bauer will square off against Jason “2017 All Star” Vargas, who has been unbelievably good all season long, including in his earlier starts against the Indians. Bauer is second on the Indians with 11 wins against 8 losses and a 4.72 ERA – Bauer has looked good to great lately, and here’s hoping he can keep it going. Vargas, on the other hand, is 14-6 with a 3.45 ERA.
Frankie Lindor will bat lead off for the Indians, followed by Jason Kipnis, Jose Ramirez, Edwin Encarnacion, and last night’s hero Jay Bruce.
First pitch is at 7:15pm EST.
