The Indians and Orioles meet for their second of four on Tuesday night. Because it does not pay to rest on one’s laurels, let us now acknowledge the complete game shut out by Corey Kluber, 12-0 arse-kicking of Monday night (!!!!!) and move on.
Tonight Josh Tomlin (4-8, 5.83) takes the mound for Cleveland against right-hander Chris Tillman (1-5, 8.07). This is Tomlin’s 8th career appearance (7th start) against the Orioles. He has a lifetime record of 3-3 with a 5.19 ERA (20ER/34.2IP) against Baltimore. I’ll be watching this game with some small sense of trepidation. Tomlin always seems to be really good or really not good. Keep your fingers crossed for the former and talk out all your anxieties here.
