Today the Indians try to avoid a series sweep at the hands of the Minnesota Twins. In order to do so, they’ll need a solid pitching performance from the erratic Trevor Bauer, and they’ll need the anemic offense to come to life. The Tribe has scored only two runs over their last 24 innings, and your five-year-old nephew can tell you that that ain’t good.

Tribe manager Terry Francona has decided to shake things up a bit today, putting Jason Kipnis in the leadoff spot and dropping Carlos Santana into the five-hole. Will this work? I sure hope so.

The team made a few roster moves today, putting Brandon Guyer on the 10-day disabled list due to his injured left wrist. Taking his place on the roster is Daniel Robertson, called up from AAA Columbus. Robertson will start in right field today. The team designated utility man Michael Martinez for assignment, replacing him on the roster with infielder Erik Gonzalez, another Columbus call-up.
