The Indians open a three-game series in Toronto tonight to close out their 10-day road trip. They’re currently 3-3 on this trip, so it would be nice to close things out with a winning record. Of course, the last time the Tribe played at Rogers Centre was during the 2016 ALCS, which they won in five. (I know you know all this, but sometimes it’s fun to relive fond memories). Cleveland edged Toronto, 4-3, during the 2016 regular season series.
The hopefully droneless Trevor Bauer (2-3, 7.67) will make the start for Cleveland against RHP Marcus Stroman (2-2, 3.89). Cleveland has faced Stroman twice–once in Cleveland (July 1, 2016) and once in Toronto (August 21, 2016). They’re is 2-0 against him. Let’s see what they do tonight. Talk about it here.
