After the sweep of the Royals to officially eliminate them from the postseason, the Indians turn their sights on the lowly Chicago White Sox. The White Sox have played the Indians tough this season, but they’re out of it and this series is in the friendly confines of Progressive Field.

The Tigers won both of their games against the Twins yesterday (following a postponement the night before), so the magic number for the Indians to clinch still sits at 4. There is a very real possibility that it happens this weekend – it would be magical to have it happen at home on Sunday, just like in 2007.

In game 153, the Indians will send Trevor Bauer (11-8, 4.24) to the hill, and the White Sox will counter with Miguel Gonzalez (4-7, 3.83).

The Indians will look to ride their winning streak to 4 games and their magic number to 3 (or maybe 2).

See you all after the game!
