Last night, the Indians lost to the White Sox.

They made history by scoring at least one run in every inning. Carlos ‘Cookie’ Carrasco was terrible. The bullpen was terrible. The offense was mediocre. The defense was terrible. The sky is falling.

Oh well. This is the luxury (however temporary it may be) of a team with a solid lead in the divisional race. The Indians are a good team, and they’ll be fine.

Tonight, the Indians take on the Chicago White Sox again, looking to even the series at a game a piece. Trevor Bauer (11-6, 3.96 ERA) takes on Jose Quintana (11-10, 3.13 ERA) in a very solid matchup for a game between division favorite and also-ran. Quintana has always been a thorn in the side of the Indians, but he’s also always been the victim of bad Chicago offense whenever he toes the rubber.

It should be a great game, and hopefully the Indians come out with a victory.
