The Indians win on Friday night against the Minnesota Twins pulled their record against the lowly Twins to 3-4 on the season. Strangely, the 32-57 Twins are still a combined 9-5 against the best two teams in the American League, the Indians and the Texas Rangers. Baseball is a goofy sport.

The series continues tonight at 7:10pm ET at Target Field with Trevor Bauer (7-3, 3.30) facing off against righty Tyler Duffey (5-6, 5.20).

Duffey pitched very well in a winning effort at Progressive Field on May 15th pitching seven shutout innings with six strikeouts. Duffey has had the Tribe’s number in three career starts going 2-0 with a 0.93 ERA over 19 1/3 innings.

Bauer, meanwhile, owns a 2.68 ERA over his last seven starts before the break and is joined tonight in the line-up by his personal catcher, Chris Gimenez.
