Fresh off a three-game sweep of the Detroit Tigers in Comerica Park, the Cleveland Indians, also known as The Hottest Team in Baseball, find themselves today in Atlanta, the land of the peach and the home of the Braves. The two teams will play a three-game series at Turner Field, and unless the Indians and Braves face each other in the World Series this year, it will mark the last time the Indians will play there, as the Braves are scheduled to play their home games in SunTrust Park in 2017 (Spoiler alert: The Braves aren’t going to make it to the World Series this year).

The Indians, of course, are red-hot, carrying a nine-game winning streak. They’ve won 18 out of 24 games in the month of June. The Braves are on a bit of a winning jag of their own, having won eight of their last eleven games. But if you go back a little bit further, you’ll see that the Braves lost ten of the twelve games before those eleven. Perhaps the best way to look at it is to note that the Braves won only four of their first 21 games, but have been playing .500 ball since then. Indians fans know all too well how hard it is to dig out of the hole you put yourself into by having a lousy April.

Trevor Bauer, pitching on only three days of rest, will start for the Tribe tonight. In five June starts, Bauer has an ERA of 1.86. He moves up a day in the rotation to allow Corey Kluber to have one more day of rest. Both men pitched complete games in their last outings. Making his fourth major-league start for Braves will be rookie John Gant, who is 1-2 with an ERA of 4.45.

Here are today’s starting lineups, brought to you as always by Great Shakes, the official milkshake of The Who:
