FI Josh Tomlin

It’s a (fairly) beautiful day for baseball as the Cleveland Indians host the New York Mets for the second game of a three-game series.

One week after snowy misery enveloped Northeast Ohio, it will be 60 degrees and sunny at the corner of Carnegie and Ontario when the Tribe takes the field this afternoon. Despite a three-run rally in the ninth last night, the Indians dropped the first game of the series to the Mets to fall back to .500 on the season, and will be looking to even the score today.

Josh Tomlin will make his season debut today after having his previous start postponed due to weather. Tomlin didn’t have a great spring training, but he’s generally been solid when healthy, and that’s the case right now. The Mets will counter with Matt Harvey, who’s making his third start of the season. Harvey is expected by many to have a big season, but has gotten off to a relatively slow start with an 0-2 record and a 4.63 ERA. Still, Harvey is a big talent, and it could be a tough night for the Indians’ hitter.

Be sure to tune in to STO this afternoon at 4:10 to root the Tribe on to victory, and be sure to share your thoughts on the game here at It’s Pronounced Lajaway!
