After trouncing the Tigers last night behind the brilliant pitching of Josh Tomlin, the Cleveland Indians are back in action at Comerica Park to try to try to make it two in a row.

In terms of pitching, the Tribe seems to have a huge edge in tonight’s matchup. Danny Salazar has been excellent this season, and to say Tigers pitchers Alfredo Simon has struggled is an understatement. Simon’s 11-9 record isn’t terrible, but his 5.09 ERA certainly is. If the Indians are able to have a night on offense anywhere close to last night’s effort (a possibility), then it seems likely that Salazar would be able to contain the Tigers and earn his thirteenth win of the season.

Can the Indians continue their march towards .500 and hang on to their outside chance to make the playoffs. Tune in tonight and share your thoughts here with the folks at It’s Pronounced Lajaway!
