Cody Anderson was added to the roster to replace Carlos Carrasco, who went on the 15-day disabled list with right shoulder inflammation, retroactive to August 22.
Anderson’s last start was August 7, a 10-9 loss to the Minnesota Twins. Anderson allowed six runs in 2 2/3 innings but did get a decision. He spent the interim on the disabled list with an oblique strain.
Friday’s starter will be Danny Salazar vs. the Angels’ Andrew Heaney at Progressive Field.
