It only took until mid-August to get the Indians and Red Sox to play a series against each other. The Indians took game 1 of the series in dominating fashion, as Danny Salazar was fantastic and the offense plated 8 runs. The Tribe looks to keep the good vibes flowing on Tuesday night as they send Trevor Bauer to the hill to face Eduardo Rodriquez. Bauer got shelled in his last two starts, both at home, and has been much better on the road this season with a 2.35 ERA in 10 starts outside of Progressive Field.
Rodriguez, on the other hand, is the very picture of an average lefty. He’s got a 6-5 record and a 4.83 ERA on the season, which means the Indians will obviously either crush him or let him take a no-hit bid into the 6th inning (I’m joking, obviously).
Dump your thoughts here… I would add the lineups, but they’re not posted at the time of this writing.
I’ll have your daily game recap, as well. Go Tribe!
