Let’s see…
The Indians have scored 26 runs over the past two games. “The Bram Cracker,” Abraham Almonte had a Tribe debut that can only be described as Kevin Kouzmanoff-esque (while Chris Antonetti dances around the offices, going up to everyone he sees, saying, “Who has two thumbs and just pilfered the Padres? THIS GUY!”), and hitting coaches Ty VanBurkleo and Matt Quatraro have earned themselves a short reprieve from being permanently inked onto my hate list.
The downfall to all of this sudden offensive competence is that it likely means that the KLUBOT will receive -34 of typical no run support today. Because the laws of averages even out and nothing is ever fair for us.
To be honest, I’m still not sure I was even conscious on Friday and yesterday, which means I’m pretty sure it was all a lie and I’m stuck in my own personal version of The Truman Show. None of this ever happened, right?
