Today is one of those days where you’re thinking, “Cookie’s got this one! Lobstein stinks! SERIES WIN!!! WHOO-HOO!”
Then you realize that the Indians haven’t won a single series since opening in Houston, and the bats–outside of a sudden spike of feistiness on Friday night–are still mostly encased in ice. All of this, of course, makes assuming some smooth-sailing is going to happen is just about the last thing any of us should be doing at this point.
I do like the idea of walking Miguel Cabrera as often as you can, when you can. Keep doing that, please.
