It’s a long shot, but there’s still hope.

Everyone ahead of the Tribe lost on Saturday, so they pulled within 3.5 games of the second Wild Card slot. Kansas City is currently clinging to a half-game lead over Seattle for the spot, with the Indians three games behind the Mariners.

If the Indians win out, they’ll finish 88-74, which means they would need the Royals to go no better than 5-4 and the Mariners to finish no better than 5-3.

Here are the meaningful matchups today….

Indians (Corey Kluber) at Twins (Anthony Swarzak) – Indians have won 10 of Kluber’s last 14 starts.

Tigers (Rick Porcello) at Royals (Jeremy Guthrie) – Tigers have won 13 of 18 games vs Royals in 2014.

Mariners (Hisashi Iwakuma) at Astros (Collin McHugh) – Astros have won six of McHugh’s last seven starts.
