The Indians wrap up their series against the White Sox this evening, as Carlos Carrasco takes the mound against John Danks.  The Indians have been all over the map against Danks in three starts this season.  Just look at their performances against him this year:

April 10: 3 ER, 6 hits, 2 BB, and 4 K in 6 IP

May 2: 8 ER, 10 hits, 3 BB, and 3 K in 5 IP

July 13: 1 ER, 8 hits, 2 BB, and 4 K in 7 IP

The Indians are hitting .320/.381/.520 against Danks this year.  Despite their troubles with left-handed pitchers, they’ve had some success against him.

Carrasco hasn’t faced the White Sox as a starter since April 11, when he gave up 5 ER on 6 hits in 4.2 IP.  He faced them just once out of the bullpen this year, on May 26, and was perfect over 1.2 IP.
