Home again home again… The Tribe opens a three-game series against the Seattle Mariners tonight at Progressive Field. Despite the disappointments of the last road trip, the Indians still hold a .604 winning percentage at home, the 3rd highest in the AL and 4th highest in the majors.
Tonight right-hander Trevor Bauer (4-5, 3.93) starts for the Indians against Mariner right-hander Hisashi Iwakuma (8-5, 3.09). Bauer is 3-1 with a 2.82 ERA (14 ER/44.2 IP) in seven starts at home this season. Perhaps the home field advantage will let the boys get back to .500 (or, dare I say, above .500).
