Someone asked me today if I could make the Indians win. I wish I possessed that brand of sorcery, especially with the way Josh Tomlin has looked in his past couple of outings (I’m still having nightmares about last Sunday). I guess the slight positive is that it’s a little harder to give up homers at Safeco, although balls in the gap may end up being a special kind of nightmare. The anemic Indians offense faces off against Roenis Elias, who has been pretty solid for the Mariners. And don’t worry, they just have to face King Felix tomorrow to round out the series.

Man, it took me over an hour to find this one. Gaylord Perry. He pitched one year for Seattle in 1982 and won 10 games at age 43.

That was the best pitched game I’ve ever seen by an Indian in my lifetime. What a treat.
