For the second year in a row Francisco Lindor will represent the Tribe at the All-Star Futures Game, playing for the “World” team.

Lindor joins Danys Baez as the only Indians selected to the game in multiple seasons. However, Baez only appeared in one game, as he was called up to the majors shortly before the 2001 Futures Game was played in Seattle.

The 20-year-old shortstop is batting .281 with a .360 on-base percentage for Akron this season.

In 2013, while splitting time between Carolina and Akron, Lindor was selected to the Futures game along with reliever C.C. Lee.
