Game 60? Really? The season is flying by, so the Tribe’s turnaround (if that’s what it is) seems to have come in the nick of time. So what do we have tonight?

  • We have Corey Kluber (6-3, 3.04 ERA) starting for the Indians. Kluber had a monster May, going 4-0 and striking out 60 batters. In the last 10 years, only Kluber and Yu Darvish have struck 60 batters in one month. (The last Indians player to do so was Dennis Eckersley in 1976.)
  • Right-hander Brandon Workman (0-0, 3.24 ERA) is scheduled to start for Boston. He was just issued a fine and six-game suspension for throwing at Evan Longoria last Friday night when the Red Sox played the Rays.
  • The Indians are in 3rd place in the AL Central, one game below .500. They have one more game left in this home stand before they start a long stretch of 16 games in 16 games. Momentum, baby.
  • We may all be going to bed late, because rain is in the forecast until 9:00 p.m.
