Zach McAllister has had a rough go over the last two starts. The Indians believe that a lower back injury is partially to blame and they sat him down on the 15-day.

Nyjer Morgan, who appeared to only suffer a nagging knee injury last week in Toronto appears to have done far worse damage than anticipated, with the move to the 60-day. Morgan filled in admirably early on for Michael Bourn and was a nice bench weapon. Unfortunately, his tenure with the Indians appears to be short.

Relievers TJ House and Mark Lowe were called up from the Clippers to give the weary Tribe bullpen some fresh arms for the road trip in Baltimore and Chicago.

Huh. I was thinking McAllister had a flair up of his finger injury. No idea if the back thing is better or worse. But it seemed like *something* was going wrong physically—he went from decent to horrible like someone flipped a switch.

I’m sad to hear about Morgan. He was really getting to be a favorite.
