Yes, there will be more animals on the field during this series – not just squirrels. Tomorrow we’ll see tigers on the field. And I’m certain that that the tigers will be more interesting to watch than the indians.

Santana is having an epic bout of bad luck to start the season. 3rd worse in baseball in Babip at .173 (lower after today’s 3hard hit balls). A little better luck and he is back to normal.
How much of that is from playing him with the overshift?
Great point! And how hard is it to slap a ball on the left side? Practice it ad make teams pay for using the shift. Of course, it someone ever were to get on base ahead of him, the shift would be a moot point. What is Sanatana’s average against the shift vs no shift? Anybody? Hello? Still short of dismal?
