It’s game 40 of the 2014 series, which means the season is already one-quarter over. Where is the time going? The Indians are currently 18-21, 4th in the AL Central and 7.0 games before first-place Detroit. Time to start climbing the basement stairs. What do we have in our favor? Well, the Indians are 57-61 (.483) all-time at Rogers Centre (Blue Jays home from 1989-present). However, since the start of the 1994 season, the Tribe is 48-38 (.558) at Rogers Centre, which is the highest winning percentage by any of Toronto’s AL opponents over the last 20 years. What else do we have going for us tonight? Corey Kluber (3-3, 3.48 ERA) is on the mound, which is a good (although not a sure) thing. He faces off against Toronto’s Dustin McGowan (2-1, 4.63 ERA). We’ll watch the game together in the comments section. Who brought the chips?
