April 11, 2012

As you probably know by now, last night’s game against the White Sox was postponed due to inclement weather. In early April in Cleveland, that usually means snow, and that’s exactly what we got yesterday evening. Granted, it wasn’t as bad as this, but postponing the game was the prudent and proper call.

The Indians haven’t announced when the game will be rescheduled, but the White Sox return for a three-game stand from May 7 to May 9, so they might try to hold a doubleheader then.

Today’s game should go on as scheduled, at 12:05 PM. Justin Masterson starts for the Tribe. Masterson, you’ll recall, pitched brilliantly on Opening Day against the Blue Jays, allowing only one run on two hits over eight innings, striking out 10 while walking only one batter.

One or more of the IPL bloggers will surely write a recap of this afternoon’s game, so check this space later!
