He wasn’t even on the postseason roster until the World Series, but he’ll go down as the pitcher of record for that wild game. Westbrook, who was basically the most effective reliever of the late innings, pitching a scoreless 11th inning. He gave up one hit, and kept the score knotted at 9. It set the stage for David Freese’s game-winning home run in the bottom of the 11th.
