The Rays finally ended the Indians’ 14 game home winning streak last night, by a score of 8-2. Carrasco struggled to find his control in his return from the DL and only lasted for five innings, giving up four earned runs.
I was most worried about David Price heading into this series with the Rays. He has struggled some this year, but is still an incredible pitcher. In fact, I believe it was Price that finally broke the Indians’ streak of undefeated games against the Rays at Progressive Field last year. He had a perfect game going through four innings and just seemed nasty; I guess it’s a fitting end to the home win streak.
The cows and I watched this one from my living room, since I was still way too sick to watch two live games in a row.
